This work emerged during an introspective and darker period, when painting became a way of finding a path forward. Flowers drift in and out of shadow, some almost disappearing while others find the light. Through the Dark explores those emotional undercurrents—the uncertainty, vulnerability and hope that can exist alongside one another, and the quiet reminder that even within darkness, there is always the possibility of light.
