Ink, Charcoal & Wire on Paper

Concertina Artist Book

40cm x 16cm

This sculptural artist's book explores disturbance as a force that cannot be contained. Tangled wire erupts across and beyond its pages, evoking internal weather, fractured thought and accumulating tension. At its centre, a dark opening offers no certain resolution : it may be read as a nest, refuge, wound or void. The work asks the viewer to remain with instability and the unsettling possibility of passage .
