Noreen Jawad

Brisbane based artist Noreen Jawad began her artistic journey in 2021, drawing on a rich blend of creative training and lived experience. With a Diploma of Visual Arts from TAFE Queensland and a Master’s degree in Economics, her practice balances thoughtful structure with expressive freedom.

Having lived across three countries, Noreen is deeply inspired by cultural diversity and nature’s vibrant colours. Working across a range of mediums and techniques, she creates joyful, life-affirming artworks that invite connection and emotional resonance.

Her work has been recognised with the TAFE CRE8 Exhibition Award (2023) and a finalist position for Creative and Artistic Excellence at the Empowering Migrant Expo (2025). Noreen aspires to build a respected presence within the artistic community, sharing her passion and vision through uplifting, enduring works.
