Artist Statement

Creativity has been a constant presence in my life. As a child, my schoolbooks were filled with abstract doodles and patterns, early expressions of a fascination with form and colour.

This passion for colour led me to study Makeup Artistry, where faces became my canvases. Later, I pursued Graphic Design, where I discovered the beauty of composition, form, and visual storytelling.

It was in my forties, after becoming a Mother, that I felt an undeniable return to my true artistic calling, and now paint full-time. Motherhood reshaped my perspective, encouraging me to slow down, work with greater intention, and focus on what truly matters. This shift has deeply influenced both my process and the emotional depth of my work.

I primarily work with acrylic on canvas. More recently, I have begun painting on glass vases an unexpected and rewarding practice that continues to grow.
My work is all about colour, vibrancy and the feeling.
